Account deletion and data rights

You can request deletion of your Routine TOPIK account and related data even if you cannot install or sign in to the app.

Delete your TOPIK account in the app

If account services are available in your app, follow these steps. You may always use the email request below, including when sign-in is unavailable.

Account deletion does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Check and cancel renewal through the store separately.

  1. Open Settings, then Account.
  2. Select the permanent account-deletion option.
  3. Complete any required identity and final confirmation steps.
  4. Wait for confirmation that deletion completed. If it fails, contact support before assuming your account has been removed.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address associated with your account. Use the subject “Routine TOPIK account deletion request”. We ask only for information needed to verify the request. Do not send your password or payment-card information.

Send an account deletion request

We aim to reply within 10 days with verification steps and the processing schedule. Requests and our responses may be retained for up to one year to document their handling. You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in to submit a request.

What is deleted

Deletion removes your TOPIK membership, TOPIK cloud backup, registered TOPIK devices and associated TOPIK RevenueCat customer record, if present. A shared authentication identity is deleted only when no other ALAN app membership needs it. Other ALAN app memberships and purchases are not deleted by a TOPIK-only request. Store subscriptions and transaction records are separate and remain subject to Apple’s or Google’s policies and legal obligations.

Existing database backups may retain copies until they expire under the hosting configuration. They are not used for ordinary service access. Security logs and records required for legal obligations or ongoing disputes may be retained with restricted access. We explain any applicable exceptions in our response.

Local learning data

Account deletion clears the account’s local data on the requesting device. Other devices may retain local copies. Use learning-history reset or remove the app to clear local learning data on those devices. Operating-system backups may retain or restore copies; manage them through your device or backup provider. On iOS, saved sign-in credentials may survive app removal; sign out to remove them.

Change analytics and crash-reporting preferences in Settings. Send access, correction, deletion, restriction or consent-withdrawal requests to [email protected].
